The teaching of law in our time: history, diagnosis and ethical requirements for a quality legal education in Brazil

The work, written in collaboration with Professor Nuno Coelho, is a detailed account of the origins and legal foundations of education in ancient Rome, in the medieval university, universities in Portugal and Brazil, all to later on refer the reader to the issues facing professionals in education of our time. It diagnoses political and academic problems, suggesting some administrative, educational and academic intervention, always invoking the ethical principles required for excellence in quality of education and of the services for which legal professionals are called upon.
